Last Night

11 Nov

Last night was a great service.  Any service is fun when you get to use a chainsaw as a part of it!  I had a great time destroying some things…and thank you Darwin for helping me out!  We used the passage from Gideon to talk about how he destroyed the altar that had been made to worship Baal.  Many of us have altars that we have constructed to give our attention and worship to things that are not real, and ultimately are substitutes for the best that God can provide.

But, it’s time to construct altars to Jesus, where we can draw closer to Him and connect with Him intimately.  I saw a lot of people broken last night during our time of prayer, and I was so thankful to see people’s hearts laid out before the Lord.  Thanks to Gadiel Espinoza for leading us into the presence of God during our service.  Thanks to the art team for the wonderful job with the idol they made!  Thanks to our awesome worship team.  Thanks to everyone for being there!

Anyways…I’m off to Hawaii this week to learn more about multiplication.  Multiplication is a part of our plan and process that God has given us in reaching the lost and discipling the saved.  So, pray that I learn a lot, and also pray for my family as I will be away from them for awhile.

Be blessed, build an altar to God, reach the lost, and stay in close fellowship with your brothers and sisters in Christ.  See you soon!
